摘要
Silver nanowires have been successfully prepared by the paraphenylenediamine (PPD) of silver nitrate in acidic solution. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques have been employed to characterize silver nanowires. A mechanism is proposed to interpret the morphological control of these structures. It was found the pH value has a heavy influence on the shape of the silver structures. This wet chemical synthetic method is expected to be used for synthesizing some other functionalized silver nanomaterials.
