摘要

The moisture absorption and liberation properties of hollow viscose fiber were tested and analyzed with regression analysis to establish the regression equation. In addition, the same properties of the other 3 regenerated cellulose fibers, including conventional viscose, modal and lyocell were tested to observe the differences existing among these 4 fibers. The results show that the moisture content of absorption and liberation of hollow viscose fiber are 11.74% and 13.78%;conventional viscose fiber of 13.34% and 15.64%;modal of 11.87% and 13.99%;lyocell of 10.97% and 13.12%, respectively. All the moisture absorption and liberation curves of the 4 fibers show that in the initial stage, the rates of the moisture absorption and liberation are fastest and then slow down gradually with the increase of the time. Hollow viscose fibers need less time to reach equilibrium than any others.
