摘要

From the perspective of enduring competitive advantage, core technology is the basis of all competitive strategies for high-tech enterprises and their products, and the core products supported by it is the physical embodiment of core competence. Within about 10 years, China's video monitoring corporations have owned some competitive ability. Beginning from copying the products abroad, digesting and absorbing the foreign advanced technology, and grasping accurately the dynamic development characteristics of the domestic market, they have got a grip on the core technology in digital video and IP network video gradually, have turned out products up to the international standards, and have been in the leading position in the domestic market. Nowadays, they are increasing their market shares quickly and continuously in the global market. A China's video monitoring corporation is studied as a case in this paper, and its core technology, products and competitive advantages are analyzed carefully in the paper.
