The DILATUS 02 measurement system is the first functioning combination of standard thermal analysis principles. It combines STA and dilatometry is supplemented with other analysis functions. All analysis functions can be used simultaneously or separately. It is designed and engineered as a research analyser, but it can also be used for routine tests. Besides TG, DTA and dilatometry, during the measurement process it also possible to simultaneously determine the electric conductivity and ultrasonic travel time directly in the test specimen. Part 1 (cfi/Ber. DKG 88 (2011) [6-7] E 47-51) presented the measurement functions, test materials and influence of the parameters preheating rate, test specimen type and size. Part 2 shows some applications as results obtained with the analyser DILATUS 02 in use at TKU Analytik Weimar.
