A novel big data based Telecom User Value Evaluation method

Customers are essential for telecom operators. Tracking the trace and the distribution of users with different values are the vital determinate factors for the telecom operations; this includes the precise network planning, the diverse investments in different regions, the priority maintenance, the optimization ordering etc. It is supposed to assist telecom operators in maximizing both the network resources utilization and the investment benefit. Meanwhile, precise marketing and diverse services for different users are also a future development trend of telecom operators. This paper proposes a Telecom User Value Evaluation (TUVE) method for the mobile Internet era. In the TUVE method, we analyze telecom big data in order to obtain comprehensive information from the users. Based on these users' information, we construct the user value evaluation system composed of the current value and the potential value. Furthermore, we analyze the weights of key factors for the current value and the potential value. Finally, we calculate each user's comprehensive value. The TUVE method can assist the efficient network planning, maintenance, and optimization. In addition, the propose TUVE method can help telecom operators set a more precise market strategy.
