Magnetic rotation in Ag-106

摘要

The high spin states of Ag-106 were populated via the fusion-evaporation reaction Mo-100(B-11,5n)Ag-106 at a beam energy of 60 MeV. A new level scheme of Ag-106 is presented. The positive parity band based on the 21 configuration of pi g(9/2)circle times v[h(11/2)(2)((g7/2)/d(5/2))] is assigned to magnetic rotation band of shears mechanism. The oretical calculation of the effective interaction on the basis of TAC mode were also performed, the calculated results agrees well with the value extracted from the experiment.
