摘要
During the historical evolution of the bell, its shape suffered modifications continuously, based on experimental results, and, at a moment in time, it was conceived as a girder of equal resistance submitted to vibrations. Even some provisions were issued concerning the proportion of some geometric dimensions of the bell. Also, analytic studies on the geometry of the existing bells were carried out and based on them computer programs for geometric projection were designed, but they are not built on a physical theory, scientifically substantiated.
