摘要
Nano-Cu2O/Ca(OH)(2) composites are successfully synthesized by a facile, one-pot and interface reduction method. The synthesis of these nano-composites is accomplished through the reaction of CuCl2 with Ca(OH)(2) on its interface forming Cu(OH)(2)/Ca(OH)(2) composite precursor, followed by a reduction of Cu(OH)(2) to Cu2O with glucose as the reducing agent. The as-synthesized samples have been characterized by X-ray diffraction. The results show that the as-synthesized samples are cubic nanocrystalline Cu2O/Ca(OH)(2) composites with Cu2O average crystallite size distribution within a narrow range, indicating that the Ca(OH)(2) as a carrier has a controlling effect on the Cu2O average crystallite size. In addition, the average crystallite size of Cu2O in Cu2O/Ca(OH)(2) composites was controlled by reaction temperature or the starting concentration of CuCl2. But, reaction time has less impact on crystallinity and size of Cu2O in Cu2O/Ca(OH)(2) composites.
