Results of the mineral processing of sulfide ores of the Olimpiadinskoe deposit according to two flowcharts are presented. These are flowcharts of a working factory and a new factory, according to which the crude concentrate is produced in two stages: the crude concentrate of the first dressing jet is isolated from 1/2 of the starting raw material, mixed with another 1/2 of the starting raw material, and the crude concentrate of the second dressing jet is isolated. A mixture of air (t = 15-20A degrees C) with steam (t = 104A degrees C, p = 0.12 MPa) is used as the gas phase in the second jet during flotation. A device for measuring the size of steam bubbles is developed. It is shown that, in conditions that simulate the vapor-air flotation, the bubble size is reduced by a factor of 2.0-2.5. When using the flowchart of the jet air-steam flotation, the concentrate yield decreases from 4.01 to 2.98% with the conservation of the level of gold recovery, which lowers the load and costs for subsequent operations of biooxidation and cyanidation of the concentrate.
