摘要
Based upon the concepts of vacuum distillation and utilization of waste heat to treat wastewater, a vacuum distillation method has been put forward to be used for treatment of wastewater coming from hot rolling process. Experiments were conducted to study the dependence of pH, electrical conductivity (EC), chemical oxygen demand (COD) and suspended solids (SS) of treated water on operating pressure and evaporation rate. Based upon the analysis of the results, optimum values for the operating pressure and evaporation rate were determined. The results showed that treated water can meet the requirements set for the recycled water in iron and steel industries.
