A new species of Cephaloleia from Panama with description of larva and first record of orchid-feeding in Cephaloleiini (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Cassidinae)

Cephaloleia orchideivora sp. nov. is described and figured from Panama including larva, host plants and biology. This is the first Cephaloleia species known to be associated with Orchideaceae.
