摘要

The aim of this study was to compare the effect of two Ringer-Lactate solutions (Fresenius (R)= RLF, Bichsel (R)= RLB) on electrolyte and lactate concentrations as well as acid-base status of horses undergoing 6 h of general anaesthesia. Ten horses were allocated to receive either RLF or RLB at 10 ml/kg/hour during anaesthesia. Na, K, Cl, ionized Ca, lactate, pH, pCO(2) and BE were measured before and every 30 minutes after induction throughout anaesthesia (M30-M360). Differences between groups were assessed with Mann-Whitney-U-test. Statistical significance was set at p < 0,05. There were no significant differences in Na, K and Cl, pH, pCO(2) and BE. Ionized Ca was significantly higher with RLF at M150 (p = 0,025), but was already low in both groups at M30 and decreased further until M360. Lactate concentrations increased in both groups over time and was significantly higher with RLB at M120 (p = 0,016) and M360 (p = 0,036). There were no clinically significant differences in electrolyte and lactate concentration as well as acid-base-status after administration of either RLF or RLB during six-hour general anaesthesia in horses.
