An investigation into aerodynamically assisted jetting (AAJ), an emerging pressure-driven process fabrication approach, for handling concentrated nano-suspensions is reported. A wide range of nano-scaled materials (<< 50 nm) were suspended in a polymer grade ethylene glycol and jetted. The jetting process was optimised for identifying a parametric space for a given flowrate to applied pressure difference, where the finest possible near mono-dispersed droplets containing nanomaterials were generated. The droplet size distributions generated were measured using a Sympatec laser spectrometer. These droplets were collected on holey carbon grids where transmission electron microscopy was carried out. The results in this investigation elucidate AAJ as a novel nanofabrication approach.
