摘要

Both the observation of strong motion of bridges and the vibration monitoring of bridge structures help to reach the final goal of reducing the earthquake disaster. In this paper, based on the earthquake response analyses of cable bridges, the scheme of a digital strong-motion monitoring system for long-span bridges is investigated in terms of the choice of monitoring sections, the main technical indexes, the early-warning system of strong motion, the data processing of observed strong-motion data and the submission of reports, etc. The proposed system not only offers accurate and quantitative ground acceleration data for post-earthquake relief and structural seismic design codes but also provides an effective means for avoiding the earthquake disaster, revealing the working state and removing the hidden danger of bridges.
