摘要
A series of Cr2O3-ZrO2 mixed oxides were prepared by a hydrothermal method and studied in relation to their performance in the dehydrogenation of propane to propylene with CO2. The material prepared from a hydrothermal treatment at 180 degrees C gives an initial propane conversion of 53.3%, which is 1.6 times that of the conventional Cr2O3-ZrO2. The enhanced activity of the hydrothermally prepared materials is attributed to a higher concentration of Cr6+ species. CO2 can alleviate the catalyst deactivation significantly.
