An Analysis of Modern Animation's Outlook form the Perspective of Mythological Elements

Researches into modern animation's outlook are scarce, especially analyses from the perspective of mythological elements. Therefore, this paper analyzes modern animation's outlook after summarizing elements from traditional western mythological elements. To start with, this paper analyzes the origin of mythological elements, and explains terminologies as well as their functions. Then there is an exploration into the theoretical aspect of animationism and summarization of related researches. Finally, a conclusion is made that modern animation's outlook is connected with animism. Modern animation has absorbed some mythological elements, and then combines the non-human physical world with people believing in modernism to create its physical form and spiritual concept.
