摘要
The article discusses of the predictive models used currently for the prediction of stochastic output of wind power plants in its first part. The main part of the contribution is the original solution of wind power simulator, which was developed at the Vysoka skola banska - Technicka univerzita Ostrava. The simulator can be used to calculate accurately the energy production from a wind power plant or group of associations of these resources in a given locality. Simulator allows to specify the estimated time of return on investment and to compare each individual site in terms of suitability to build the wind power plants.
