摘要
A review of a number of problems on classification and phylogeny of true finch birds is presented. Poor knowledge of their relationship, in spite of intensive investigations, is noted. A review of the main historical stages of classification of finches and the results of phylogenetic studies by molecular methods are presented. The recent revisions at the level of subfamilies and genera of true finches are discussed.
