摘要

The size effects on different properties, such as magnetization M, Curie temperature T-C and band gap E-g of ferromagnetic semiconducting EuS nanoparticles are studied based on the d-f model and using a Green%26apos;s function technique. We have shown that M and T-C are decreased compared with the bulk material, whereas E-g is increased. The results are in qualitative agreement with the experimental data.
