摘要

A paired electrosynthesis of zinc gluconate and succinic acid using novel nano-electrodes was studied. A Ti/nanoTiO(2) electrode and a nanoTiO(2) film loaded Pt nanoparticle electrode (Ti/nanoTiO(2)-Pt) were prepared by a sol-gel method and an electrochemical deposition technique. The results of cyclic voltammetry showed that the Ti/nanoTiO(2)-Pt electrode as anode and the Ti/nanoTiO(2) electrode as cathode exhibited high electrocatalytic activity for electro-oxidation of glucose and electro-reduction of maleic acid respectively. According to the orthogonal experiment, the optimum conditions obtained were as follows: anodic and cathodic current density at 1.2 and 3.0 A.dm(-2) respectively, 0.4 mol.L-1 glucose and 0.6 mol.L-1 NaBr in anodic electrolyte, 0.6 mol.L-1 maleic acid and 0.2 mol.L-1 NaCl in cathodal electrolyte, and the temperature at 50 degrees C. Total current efficiency attained to 170%.
