摘要

In our continuous efforts to investigate the coordination architectures of silver(I) complexes with thioethers, we report herein the syntheses and crystal structures of three new silver(I) complexes, a trinuclear complex [Ag(3)L(2)(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(CH(3)CN) 2 and two one-dimensional chain complexes [Ag(2)L(1) (BF(4))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](infinity) 1 and [Ag(2)L(3) (NO(3))(2)](infinity) 3, where L(1), L(2) and L(3) are three structurally related pyridyl dithioether ligands: 1,4-bis(2-pyridylthio)butane (L(1)), 1,5-bis(2-pyridylthio)pentane (L(2)) and 1,6-bis(2-pyridylthio)hexane (L(3)). The structural differences of 1, 2 and 3 show the influences of the ligand spacers on the coordination modes of the terminal pyridylsulfanyl groups and the coordination geometries of the Ag(I) ion. There exist Ag(...)Ag contacts in the three complexes, C-H(...)F weak hydrogen bonds in 1, Ag(...)S weak coordination bonds in 2 and Ag(...)O weak interactions in 2 and 3, and these weak interactions link the low-dimensional complexes into high-dimensional supramolecular structures and further stabilize the crystal structures in the solid states.
