摘要

Polarization filtering is a main method to suppress the interference in high frequency (HF) radar and other systems. Based on the oblique projection technique, an oblique projecting polarization filter (OPPF) is proposed by constructing the polarization subspaces of the target signal and interference, respectively. The proposed OPPF, which is also viewed as an extension of a conventional polarized filter, can suppress the interference effectively while any influence on target signal will be not introduced. A generalized construction method of OPPF operator is provided, the impact on the performance of the estimation errors are discussed, and simulation results of the interference suppressing are illustrated. It is indicated that the proposed filter is a valid filtering technique for interference canceling.
