摘要

This paper presents a mathematical model based on equations describing physical phenomena in a vacuum current breaker during the post-arc state. Due to the way of modelling by means of ATP/EMTP and MODELS tools, it was prepared to work together with an external network representing the laboratory synthetic network enabling numerical simulation of post-arc current flow and transient recovery voltage. The results compared with real measurements confirmed the validity of the model.
