Detection and Control System for Tobacco Topdressing Machine

摘要

In order to accurately control the topdressing position and topdressing quantity of tobacco plant, reduce fertilizer waste and improve topdressing efficiency, a new kind of detection and control system for tobacco topdressing machine was put forward. In this system, the opposite-type infrared photoelectric sensor was used to detect the diameter and topdressing position of tobacco plant, and the number of delay pulses was determined by the microcontroller according to the arithmetic processes of signals generated by the infrared photoelectric sensors. When the duckbill closed to the topdressing position, the electromagnetic clutch was electrified. The U-groove fertilizer feeder was driven to rotate by the dynamic delivered from the gearbox and chain drive, then the fertilizer fallen into the duckbill, and the duckbill fallen to top-dress at the same time. The results showed that the topdressing position detection error was less than 15 mm, the topdressing accuracy of the tobacco topdressing machine reached to 97%, and the tobacco plant injury rate was less than 2%.
