A novel fast-view system for high resolution remote sensing camera is developed by using an improved data link protocol based on CCSDS AOS, which has already applied for the national invention patent (no 201010227729.4). In the designed system, 12-bits gray scale LCD monitor EIZO GS520 is used to display the 12-bits image data and FPGA is employed to realize the main controller for acquiring, processing, recording and driving the image data by coding with hardware description language. Through the actual test, it is concluded that the novel fast-view system can complete the acquisition and storage of TDI-CCD image data of 10 channels in parallel with the total effective data up to 16.8 Gbps, and display the large area image with 12-bits gray scale at the resolution of 8192*2560 without truncation gray scale. Furthermore, it is convenient to be upgraded for the higher resolution remote sensing camera by adding the corresponding components in future.
