摘要

This study analyzes the steady state behavior of wireless power transfer through the magnetic coupling between two LC-resonators that consist of a loop coil (diameter = 0.2 m) and a terminating capacitor based on an equivalent circuit model. Parameters considered include the quality factor Q of resonators and the distances between coils, which govern the strength of the magnetic coupling and the frequency of the sinusoidal power source (24 similar to 28 kHz range). The efficiency and amount of power transferred are calculated under the optimum load for the distance of transfer. The analysis proves that with a moderately high Q of 227, the efficiency can reach above 85% at the distance equal to the radius of the resonant coil, when the load is optimized. An important finding from the analysis is that there is a value for the frequency where the optimum load is almost unchanged, even when the distance between two resonators changes.
