摘要

With respect to the phenomenon of NH3 cross-sensitivity of NOx sensors in the urea-SCR system, the influence of exhaust temperature on this cross-sensitivity characteristic was theoretically and experimentally studied. A NOx sensor model to exhaust temperature was established. Combining with the SCR catalyst model, a method using the extended Kalman filter (EKF) to predict the actual NOx concentration downstream of the catalyst was proposed. Compared with the experimental results, the simulations show that this method can significantly improve the accuracy of the NOx sensor readings, and provide a solution for NOx sensor in controlling and on-board diagnostic of the Urea-SCR system.
