摘要

To solve the limitations of traditional surface exposure methods such as trenching, shaft-driving and reduce the damage to the environment shallow orebody and thickness of the top soil layer was exposed by shallow drilling, which can be utilized to the geological mapping of overburden, bedrock lithology and geological boundary control, geological structures research and to find out the orebody shape. Meanwhile, sampling and chemical analysis to the core (sample) were applied to build the drilling instead of trenching technology and method system. The application of this method in Caojian tin mine in Yunnan shows: stratified and planar structures can be controlled by reasonable hole pattern scheme initiatively, flexibly and accurately in the exploration, so as to master the stratified and planar geological structures and to effectively control the output and spatial forms of irregular, complex geological body at the same time. In the special geological background, shallow drilling can also replace the role of shallow shaft besides trenching.
