摘要

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the relationship of the resilience, illness perception, beliefs and spiritual-religious coping on health-related quality of life in 40 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosis from the city of Medellin, Colombia. Instruments: resilience scale RS, the connor-davidson resilience Scale CD-RISC2, the brief illness perception questionnaire IPQ-B, systems of beliefs inventory SBI-15R, spiritual coping scale SCS, medical outcomes study short form 36 items MOS SF-36. To level results there were positive correlations between resilience and mental health and multiple linear regression analysis personal control and consequences of illness perception had significant weight on the summary mental index of the quality of life. In conclusion, the mental health in sharp crises meets altered by the worry in the physical, social, economic and emotional consequences that it brings the disease and personal control and resilience are variables that promote the emotional regulation in patients with COPD.
