A new sulfated triterpenoid, 3 beta, 24-dihydroxyurs-20-ene-24-O-sulphonyl-28-oic acid (fabagoin, 1) was isolated from the barks of Zygophyllum fabago L. Its structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
