Dilute CH3SH-sensing characteristics of BaSnO3 thick film sensor

摘要

Sensing properties to dilute volatile sulfides such as H2S, CH3SH and (CH3)(2)S have been investigated for BaSnO3 thick film sensor prepared by precipitation method. Ba(OH)(2) and Na2SnO3 Were used as staring materials. Ba(OH)(2) solution was dropped into Na2SnO3 Solution slowly, the precipitate obtained was washed for many times until there is no Na in filter solution, dried and calcined at 600-800degreesC for 4h in air. The phase composition was examined by means of XRD. The BaSnO3 sensor prepared by using the powder calcined at 700degreesC showed high sensitivity as well as good selectivity to dilute CH3SH at 300degreesC. Especially, the BaSnO3 sensor showed the sensitivity (R-a/R-g) as high as 20 even to 0.01 ppm CH3SH.
