The limitations of Shannon's communication system model are analyzed when the model is used to realistic information system, and the similarities between the Shannon's communication system model and realistic information system are pointed out, especially the consideration of the reliability of information. Based on the reliability of information, a generalized information system model suitable widely in most realistic information system is proposed.
