摘要

The authors synthesized a graft copolymer (POE-g-MAS) by grafting methyl methacrylate-acrylonitrile-styrene (MAS) onto polyethylene-octene elastomer (POE). Furthermore, POE-g-MAS was blended with styrene-acrylonitrile resin to prepare a novel high impact engineering plastic (SAN/POE-g-MAS). The effects of polarity of graft chain, grating ratio and POE content on impact property of the blending were studied. The notch impact strength of the blending reached 56.1 kJ/m2 when m(St)/m(MMA)/m(An) ratio, graft ratio and w(POE) was 10:70:20, 45.1% and 25%, respectively. The analysis by electron scanning microscope and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) verified the good compatibility between POE-g-MAS and SAN resin.
