摘要

The substructure during cold drawn processing for the single crystal copper wires by the Ohno Continus Casting (OCC) has been investigated using optical microscopy and electron backscattering diffraction. It is found that the microstructure evolvement has three steps with strain increasing for the deformed single crystal copper wires. The texture component of [100] is transformed to [100], [111] and weak [112] due to the shear deformation for the deformed single crystal copper wires when the true strain is 1.96. The boundaries disorientation angles by deformation are lower than 14 degrees and the dislocation boundaries belong to low degree boundaries when the true strain is 0.94. And the disorientation angles of some boundaries are greater than 50 degrees, and the peak in the disorientations angle distribution produced by texture evolution appears at the angle range of 25 similar to 30 degrees when the true strain is 1.96.
