The conventional track lacks some flexibility and stability in the course of use, and thus will damage the road surface greatly. Compared with conventional track, triangular track can effectively overcome the above problems. This paper makes the analysis and simulation of mechanical parameter of triangular track mechanism and ground effect based on Bekker theory. At first, it studies kinds of acting force mechanical parameters of triangular track on the ground via the theory of Bekker. It analyses various parameters of triangular track in the links of straight line, turn and climbing and the like. Based on that, it designs a kind of triangular track mechanism. Besides, it implements simulation and finite element analysis of driving wheel and thrust wheel via ADAMS and ABAQUS. The result shows that mechanism can satisfy practical use requirement.
