摘要

The introduction of copper and CeO2 into nickel-containing catalysts supported on zirconia stabilized by scandia and ceria (ScCeSZ) provides for their stable activity and enhances their resistance to coke deposition in the steam and oxidative steam reforming of butane. The presence of oxygen in the reaction mixture decreases coke deposition on the surface of these catalysts and reduces the temperature required to achieve complete butane conversion in the presence of a Ni-Cu-CeO2/ScCeSZ composite.
