摘要

The Ni-Mn-Sn-O compounds with a spinel structure were prepared via solid state reaction. The composition and temperature of spinel structure formed were investigated by X-ray diffraction. The cations distribution in the spinel structure was also clarified. The results show that the Ni-Mn-Sn-O compounds form a tetragonal-spinel structure when the content of Ni element is less than 15% (in mole fraction), form a cubic spinel when the content of Ni element is 15%-30% and generate a NiO phase when the content of Ni element is more than 30%. The content of Sn element has a great effect on the temperature of spinel structure formed. The more Sn element content, the higher temperature for the formation of spinel structure will be. The solubility of Sn element in spinel is limited when the content of Sn element is less than 30%. The Sn4+ion can occupy the B-site of spinel structure, leading to the increase of resistivity and thermal constant B.
