An Approximation Approach to the Evolution of the Fragmentation Function

We derive an approximation approach to the evolution of the fragmentation functions at Leading-Order (LO) by using a Laplace-transform technique. We calculate the fragmentation functions for meson states of (eta,psi) in LO and evolution up to the high factorization scales. Our results for the fragmentation functions are in good agreement with other results.
