摘要

This study aims to characterize the spatial distributions of grain-scale stress/strain and geometrical necessary dislocations (GNDs) in TA15 titanium alloy subjected to tensile deformation at room temperature. The microstructures under different strains are investigated through electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) measurements. Evolution of intergranular stress/strain is revealed by analysis of high angular resolution EBSD patterns. The spatial distributions of GNDs are calculated using a self-developed routine. Results indicate that many factors influence the spatial distributions of grain-scale residual stress/strain and GNDs during plastic deformation, and the dominant factor varies with the changes in microstructure characteristics and macroscopic deformation parameters.
