摘要

This paper describes the design and implementation of a hybrid rapid protype framework based on the software components of Toyohashi OPen Platform for Embedded Real-time Systems (TOPPERS) Project aiming at building an open software platform for embedded systems. The hardware is with a hybrid architecture of Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) architecture microcontroller and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), to take full advantage of the characteristics of the two blocks. Through evaluation experiments, the features and performance of the proposed framework and the applied TOPPERS software components are presented.
