摘要

The Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari Method (DJM) is a very efficient technique which is used by researchers to solve a variety of nonlinear problems. However, the DJM was not used to solve delay differential equations in the literature. In this paper, we use DJM to obtain approximate analytical solutions of neutral functional-differential equations with proportional delays. The results obtained by DJM are compared with exact solutions and those obtained by other iterative methods such as Adomian decomposition method, variational iteration method, homotopy analysis method, optimal homotopy asymptotic method and power series method. It is observed that DJM is simple as compared with other methods and the solutions obtained using DJM are in well agreement with exact solutions.
