摘要

In small and independent power system or distribution network, capacitors are widely used to increase power factor, which together with system impedance generally cause resonant problems. In this paper, shunt active power filter (SAPF) is used to compensate harmonic and damp resonance. Firstly, the damping characteristics of SAPF with traditional load current detection methods (detecting current including or not including the capacitor current) are analyzed respectively. The results show detecting current not include the capacitor is better. Then the capability of SAPF to compensate harmonic and damp resonance under the better detecting is discussed. In traditional control strategy, SAPF have a certain effect to reduce harmonic and suppress resonance, but it cannot be satisfied the power quality standard. So, a new hybrid control strategy of harmonic compensation and resonance damping is proposed to satisfied in this paper. Finally, the simulation and experiment results are presented to verify the analysis.
