摘要

A novel active sliding mode control approach is presented for synchronization of two uncertain chaotic system. The method utilizes virtual state feedback to offer design of robust sliding mode plane. And a sufficient condition is drawn for the robust stability of the error dynamics of synchronization for uncertain chaotic systems based on Lyapunov stability theory. The proposed strategy does not need any complex state transformation, as does the traditional sliding mode control. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the methodology.
