摘要
There has been a significant concern in analyzing the size dependence of cohesive energy for Palladium (Pd) nano-particle by simple model approach. The cohesive energy decreases substantially when the size of particles decreases to several nanometers. The model predicts that cohesive energy of Pd nano-particle is same as the bulk material when the particle size is more than 100 nm.
