摘要

After a big earthquake, the reliable estimation of the earthquake damage within a short time is very important for the government to allocate the relief personnel and supplies. A method based on the grey system theory is proposed to estimate the seismic intensity rapidly in this paper. Since the seismic intensity has a certain relationship with the ground motion parameters, a GM(1,N) grey model was built to present the relationship between them, and the seismic intensity can be obtained at once after knowing the ground motion parameters. Through the experimental proof and analysis, it can be seen that the GM(1,N) method can estimate the data in accuracy, which is simply to process, and with less calculation and strong real time characteristics.
