摘要

A composite of ZnO nanoparticles and poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) is prepared in this study. The ZnO nanoparticles are finely dispersed in the PVK matrix. It is found that the photoluminescence intensity of PVK matrix in the as-prepared nanocomposite is greatly reduced in comparison with the pure PVK. This change is attributed to interfacial charge transfer between PVK matrix and ZnO nanoparticles, and indicates that ZnO nanoparticles in the as-prepared composite are effective electron trappers. Photoconductivity of the device fabricated from the nanocomposite is investigated, and the results are compared to the pure PVK and the composite prepared by a conventional free radical polymerization.
