摘要

We report the results of a pulsed jet Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy investigation of the Ethylalcohol-Cyclobutanone molecular complex. The rotational spectrum has been assigned to one conformer in which the gauche species of ethylalcohol acts as the proton donor to one sp(2) lone pair of the carbonyl oxygen of cyclobutanone. After deuteration of the hydroxyl group involved in the hydrogen bond a 7-8 m angstrom shrinking of the O center dot center dot center dot O distance (Ubbelohde effect) has been quantified.
