In the title compound, [Zn(C(15)H(11)NO(3))(H(2)O)(2)]center dot C(2)H(6)OS, the Zn(II) ion is coordinated by two O atoms and one N atom of the deprotonated chelate ligand and two water molecules in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination environment. A linear supramolecular structure built from O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds runs parallel to [100].
