摘要

Underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN) has been evolved and brings together the advantages and challenges due to the specific characteristic of underwater communication. Over the recent years, it is always received much attention by both researchers and scientists in developing scientific applications that help to enhance comfortable human life. The underwater wireless sensor network is still developed and perfected even if it faces many difficulties due to the different communication method between terrestrial and underwater environment. Therefore, the need for a fully understanding and perfect to develop an efficient UWSN is not small and pretty easy. There were many approaches to reach the goal of long life network, high performance with less energy consumption, for example, network clustering, data aggregating, and so on. This paper aims to build a clustering scheme for UWSN which can be applied for an accuracy water characteristics monitoring system. This scheme mainly utilizes geographical information and the advantage of node distribution to form clusters. The main goals of this clustering scheme include the high network throughput, less end-to-end delay, optimal energy consumption, and high data accuracy.
