摘要

Analysis of allergen-specific IgE in 230 children with allergic airway disease in northern China In order to assess the etiological factors for seasonal allergic airway disease in children in northern China, the sera of 230 children with clinically observed allergic airway disease were tested for specific IgE (sIgE) binding to a group of allergens by UniCAP. The 230 subjects were divided into 3 groups which comprised 91 patients with allergic rhinitis, 109 with bronchial asthma and 30 with both. The proportion having sIgE to Artemisia vulgaris (w6) was 49.7% of the 161 children tested, 30.2% of 202 tested were positive to Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (d1) and 29.4% out of 180 patients were positive to house dust. Statistical analysis of sIgE antibodies revealed that several suspected allergens have significant correlations in causing airway hypersensitivity. Thus, in northern China, the three main inhalents are A. vulgaris, D. pteronyssinus and other allergens in house dust.
